this whole quarter i’ve been playing catch-up and getting ridiculously stressed about the smallest things
things are finally looking up, and i can’t wait to finish the year strong
i haven’t used this in awhile, but i made a new years post last year and i thought it would be a nice tradition to keep up
2011 was an extended celebration and wrapped up several old developments (living at home, finishing high school); naturally, 2012 was a year full of new challenges and boundaries to overcome. i’ve never studied, worked, and cried as much as i have this past year. on the other hand, i’ve never partied as much or met as many new people.
that feeling of widening your upper and lower limits is extremely difficult to explain. the rough experiences aren’t cancelled or paved over by better ones; both contribute just as much to your perspective.
i’ve learned to be more focused, and put more energy into things that i know will yield results. 2013 is going to be a huge challenge, but i wouldn’t have that shit any other way.
